BIZ DESIGN | BRANDING

In july 2016 I founded with Dan Domingues a consulting business called Biz Design. It was my first venture into the field and we focused on exploring the design as a mindset for causing change wherever we went. We offered 3 types of projects: Business Design, Experience Design and Design Sprints. 

I designed the brand and all the visual materials for this business.

THE LOGO

We wanted to develop a flexible logo that embraced the three pillars of design: empathy, collaboration and experimentation. So I design three pictograms representing each of them (heart, circle and puzzle piece). All the pictograms had connected points because without connections, there is no design process.

The typographical part of the logo names the company and communicates its focus: biz, as in business.

BRANDING MATERIALS

We didn't develop any physical materials such as print business carts or proposal folders and envelopes. We wanted everything to be adaptable. Our biz card, for example, was a regular office stamp, with which we could stamp our brand and contacts in any medium (from a napkin to the clients moleskine).
